As a Program Coordinator for our Marien-Heim older adult center, you will play a vital role in overseeing the daily operations and ensuring the seamless execution of activities for our participants. Your responsibilities will include warmly welcoming and registering participants, managing and optimizing schedules, coordinating effectively with teachers and consultants, and supporting the overall administrative functions of our dynamic program. Your dedication will help create a smooth and enriching experience for everyone involved.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet participants and sign them in for daily activities.
  • Register new participants and record all necessary information.
  • Create and update monthly and daily activity schedules.
  • Adding new activities or adjust existing ones as needed.
  • Coordinate with teachers and consultants to ensure smooth operation of activities.
  • Find substitutes for teachers when necessary.
  • Booking trips to museums, parks and Broadway shows.
  • Collect and process invoices for payment.
  • Perform data entry tasks to maintain accurate records.
  • Prepare monthly reports summarizing activities and participant engagement.
  • Create and distribute fliers and promotional materials for activities and events.
  • Ensure effective communication with participants, teachers, and consultants.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Russian is preferred.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is desirable.
  • Organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software for data entry and report generation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with participants and staff.

This is a Full-time in-person position.

$22-$25 per hour.
